Trick or Treat!

I finally remembered to get a full head-to-toe shot of Layla's costume! This is right before we went trick or treating! She's dressed in many layers underneath her costume to keep her warm, so she looks a little thicker than usual! At least it wasn't snowing or anything like that! No snow pants under her outfit!

We also went to the 'Trunk or Treat' activity at church this afternoon, but I was slacking and didn't take a picture the whole time we were there! Oh well....

To get her to smile a bit more for the picture, I told her to 'dream of candy!'

Hence, her dazed and faraway look!

Now she's just getting excited to go! And so go we did!

Hello! These are pictures from our family Halloween party last night, I was just too tired last night to post them! My dad got Layla this cute plug-in jack-o-lantern that is pink in the middle! Layla loves it!

And this is only a little bit of our treats we had! It may not look that way, but it was actually a surprisingly healthy snack table. We had sourdough bread with spinach dip, a baguette with bruschetta. Lot's of veggies with dip. Cranberry-grape punch. But then there were chips, sugar cookie decorating and some Halloween bought candy, too!

All in all, a fantastic time had by all! Not bad for our second annual Halloween Family Party!

Halloween in Kindergarten

Preparations for Layla's Halloween party yesterday at school began the night before. I gave her a nice, warm bath (to help her fall asleep) and then put pin-curls in her hair! I've only done this once before and they turned out amazing, so I thought I'd give it a try again. Especially as Layla was being Ariel, and I couldn't find a nice red wig anywhere, so we thought curls would be a good substitute. Very fancy and princessy, you know!

I kinda liked this picture of Layla because I think it shows that she'd look glamorous even if she had one of those really Europeanish super short feminine haircuts (which I really want one day, but am always too chicken to get). Lucky girl, has a nicely shaped head!

And from the side! She's such a trooper, and she slept with all the pins in her head all night long!

The only problem was, I forgot to put any hairspray or product in her hair. Then, or when I took it out. And I often forget that her hair is completely different from mine. Mine will sometimes hold a curl for days, but her hair is so fine and straight, that it really needed the extra help. You'll see why later...

I also volunteered to be a Kindergarten parent helper on the day of the festivities! The party had a pre-party with jack-o-lantern carving in the morning! I was in charge of cutting (obviously!) for my little group, and this is what we came up with! Scary, huh?

This is Layla had at work coloring a fantastic witch! Unfortunately, I forgot to take any full-length shots of her costume, so I'll have to try to get one at our party tomorrow or on Halloween day itself.

Sigh. I just liked this pretty picture of my pretty girl. What a sweetie!

See how her hair isn't very curly after all the work? I was in the morning, until she went outside for recess, then it fell flat.

And what party is complete without some play-doh time? Then we had snacks and the teachers sent them home with sugar-highs, classic!

Night with the Wild Things

Layla and I enjoyed a fabulous 'date night' tonight (It's Tuesday, it's always movie night!). Last night I got her the latest paperback edition of 'Where the Wild Things Are' by Maurice Sendak, in anticipation of going to see the movie today together. Well, we went all out and drove up to the Big City (Edmonton) and saw it at the IMAX in West Edmonton Mall.

It was loads of fun, but I'll admit, the screen was almost too big! But I think the biggest problem was that I was wearing my glasses, and they annoy me because they slightly cut off some of my peripheral vision. And in the IMAX, you need your peripheral vision just to view the whole image on the screen! But the movie was cute and very imaginative, but heavier than most 'kids' movies. I had to explain some things to Layla about what was going on. It was interesting though, there were many scenes with no dialogue, yet were very emotionally charged scenes just through facial expressions and body language, and she was very responsive to those. I think even young children can sense dynamic emotions more than we give them credit for.

Our night out was so fun! Although there are no pictures today, as I'm under the weather and thus: look like crap. However, I was playing with my camera earlier today during Layla's 'craft/story time' at the Library today. I was goofing around with different processes for pictures that were still stored on it, so that was fun! I've had my camera for a couple years now, but only recently have I started experimenting more with the different options for it, and it's like I now own a whole new camera! I can't believe some of the neat things it can do!

After Layla's library session, I finally took a step forward in a financially responsible direction and opened both an RRSP and a TFSA today at the Bank! Good for me!

Oh, and some news I'm very excited for: I'm getting a housekeeper! I've never had one before and it seems so posh! But to face it, I work a lot and I hate cleaning. Therefore, my house is always messy and I think Layla deserves better than that. So, if I can't/won't do it myself, I'll get someone to help me get it under control. So excited!

Today is your Un-Birthday! That's when it's exactly halfway through your age! I can't believe you are already 5 and a half, halfway to being 6?! That's unbelievable! You're such a super kid, thanks for being my fabulous daughter.

H1N1

I'm always pretty skeptical of mass hysteria. No one is thinking logically and critically. For this reason, I honestly have not followed news media in over 10 years. It's always very biased, does not give the full and honest story, breeds fear and only reports for sensationalism. Not wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Even without reading or watching far-winged broadcasts, it's impossible to not hear the hysteria of things like Anthrax scares, Bird-Flu, SARS, etc over the years. Something that has often scared me though, is the reports you hear about the terrifying side-effects of vaccinations. I'll admit, part of my discomfort is because I don't feel informed enough to make a well-researched educated decision on the topic. I will admit, my daughter has so far been up to date with immunizations, but when I think about how our life would be so drastically different if she had developed autism or some other neurological disorder, I almost have a meltdown just at the thought of 'losing' my brilliant, bright, beautiful daughter.

However, this H1N1 'pandemic'? If you take a step back and look at it objectively (which is easier I find, since not watching the news) it's not even logical. Facts don't add up right. Things are too 'convenient'. I've been highly critical of the situation since the beginning. When I very first heard reports on it, I literally laughed, and said 'here we go again! The next pandemic to breed more paranoia'! Now, this is in no way to disrespect anyone who has died or suffered from being sick, that's not my intention at all. It's just the media's ability to exponentially weave tales of bogus stories and bend statistics to the point where they are barely facts at all. That's what really gets me going about the situation.

Anyway, I know this is a pretty heavy topic for a Monday morning, so you can read if you'd like, or ignore if you'd like, or simply read it at another time, but I just wanted to post an e-mail I received. Now, I'll admit, this e-mail seems a bit far reaching on the opposite side of the spectrum at times, but I believe since we all hear reports that are so biased, it's healthy to hear part of the opposite side of the debate once in a while, just to keep our minds sharp and ensure that we're always paying attention and thinking critically. Some information in this e-mail I had heard before, some is new to me and I admit to not finding additional references to back it up at this point. But again, I just like there to be representation for both sides of the debate and since this side is not widely broadcast, I'd just like to share it. I'd be interested in anyone else's thoughts on this. I believe honest communication and knowledge is empowering.

I told you that I have received an e-mail from my cousin emanating from Jean-Jacques Crèvecoeur. Some of you asked me what Mr. Jean-Jacques Crèvecoeur had to say about the supposedly pandemic swine flu and the 'vaccine for the H1N1.

Here is, to the best of my abilities, a rough translation of his e-mail:

Dear Friends,

I promised that I would inform you. This is what I am doing.

Knowing the health politics in North America and Europe, I assure you that the pharmaceutical industries impose their laws upon our politicians who have become like puppets. If you would like to understand what is waiting for us in the following months, please take the time to follow this conference (for those who speak French) held on September 12, 2009 at the Palais des Congrès de Montreal. It is your health, your freedom and your life that is on the line. You can see and hear it on YOUTUBE.

If you still naively believe that the mandatory vaccination plan won't take place, I invite you to try to answer the following questions that I asked myself since my investigation of the swine flu issue.

I want to share with you my numerous interrogations concerning this famous pandemia of H1N1 virus, and invite you to answer by yourselves and get to your own conclusions.

I, Anick would like to add : look at the dates at which things happen. If they are true it smells premeditation.

• Why did Mrs Bachelot (Health Minister of France) has requested in February 2009, to a group of constitutional attorneys a memo about the following question: Would the imposition of a vaccination plan to the entire population be illegal and unconstitutional? Upon which the experts reassured her. If she invoked the exceptional situation of a sanitary state of emergency she was totally justified to suppress all individual freedom!
• Why the World Health Organization has modified on April 27, 2009 its definition of pandemia? Before, to declare a pandemia the conditions were way more severe! Now, it is sufficient to identify the disease in two countries of the same WHO zone!
• How come the patent for the vaccine against the swine flu virus (H1N1) has been deposited in 2007 (well in advance to the actual resurfacing of the disappeared virus since the famous pandemia of Spanish influenza of 1918?
• By which extraordinary coincidence France President Sarkozy had the intuition to sign an investment of 100 millions of Euros on March 9, 2009, for the construction of a plant that will produce vaccines against influenza? And guess where? In Mexico, exactly where the centre of the pandemia took place.
• Why no media and no scientific expert remind us that the ordinary influenza kill between 250 000 to 500 000 people each year, which represent over 1000 death per day? (These are the official data from World Health Organization)
• Why all the medias in the World do repeat daily that the virus H1N1 will provoke a hecatomb of victims when in fact it has been demonstrated that is is a simple flu less severe than the ordinary seasonal flu. We have had 2000 death in over 5 months and ordinary flu will have caused 200 000 death during the same lapse of time!
• Why, despite those insignificant rates of morbidity and mortality (2000 compared to 200 000) most countries contracted to by stupendous amounts for hundreds of millions of vaccine doses, and this, since June 2009?
• In other words, why are we putting in place exceptional measure this year, when the flu is less virulent than other years? What in fact justifies such decisions when there is nothing exceptional?
• Why martial laws, laws of exception have been adopted in most countries (without disclosing their content)?
• Why did the Interior Minister of France called back every reservist of the army and police in February 2009 for and I quote "very severe social troubles predicted for the end of summer 2009" i.e. September.
• Why the American army has been deployed over the entire territory of United States?
• Why over 800 concentration camps have been set up in the US these last years? (For the moment, they are empty) Can you explain why they are managed by the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) which acts in times of huge catastrophes on the territory (such as Katrina cyclone)
• Why hundreds of thousands coffins are stored in all American states and why Communal trenches have been dug in each district?
• Why 600 British neurologists have received on July 29, 2009 a confidential letter from HPA (Health Protection Agency) inviting them to be specifically attentive to the increase of Guillain Barré Syndrome (a sever degenerative neurologic disorder triggered most of the time by the injection of a vaccine. Why this same agency has not warned the public who will 'benefit' from this vaccination campain.
  
• How come on March 5, 2009, Baxter firm has contaminated 72 Kg of vaccine material by mixing the virus of H5N1 (avian flu) and H3N2 the ordinary flu, before sending it to six different countries. The safety procedures in this type of laboratory makes this incident absolutely impossible. Impossible unless the act of contamination is voluntary. This has been confirmed by a Doctor in biology.
• Why don't we tell people the vaccine against influenza, since its invention 40 years ago has never impacted positively on the incidence of the disease, quite contrarily, an international study demonstrated that the people who got the vaccine caught influenza more than the people who did not receive the vaccine.
• If vaccine have so few secondary effects how the sanitary authorities explain that the number of people affected with MS passed from 25000 to 85000 after the vaccination campain against hepatitis B?
• Why are we hiding us the fact that all the pandemias of the XXth century have been triggered after a preceding vaccination campain?
• Why do we authorize in the future H1N1 vaccine an adjuvant such as squalène (in a proportion one million times more important - I checked my calculus because I could not believe it!) when the Chamber of Representatives acknowledged explicitely this agent as responsible for the First Golf War Syndrome. The syndrome caused 25% of GI soldiers to be sick following the injection of a vaccine against anthrax. Note that the squalene was forbidden by a Federal judge in 2004.
• Why the first population aimed by the vaccination will be the pregnant women and children when normally, the elders are targeted? The elders supposedly will have the benefit of the immune memory of the Spanish influenza of 1918.
• Why the mandatory vaccination procedures will be given, not to physicians but to voluntary students and the military?
• Why no physician and no hospital will be allowed to provide the vaccine themselves. Are they afraid of false certificates?
• Why 50% of British physicians said they will refuse to be vaccinated with the new vaccine because they do not trust the preparation procedure?
• Why do we present Tamiflu as an effective antivirus, when all uses of this product has reveled to be catastrophically inefficient? Moreover, this medicine provokes numerous psychological and neuronal disorders, which led some people to commit suicide after using this medicine!
• Why do sanitary authorities, that are supposed to care for our protection and well being authorize that a new type of vaccine (it is their word) be directly tested on hundred of millions of guinea pigs (that would be us) without the normal protocoles of marketing being respected and without any warranty of inocuity of the said vaccine?

All of this can be cross-referenced on the basis of reading official documents which are accessible to all! These are not allegations or theories from the big conspiracy movement. That is why it is imperative to ask ourselves those questions and to draw our own conclusions.

THE BIG QUESTION IS: How a virus as benign will proceed to kill millions of people? This is the one million dollar question!!!

The history of past pandemias brings the answer. The recipe is simple. It consists of 12 steps, already experimented with success in 1918.

1. We announce that an outbreak of a new influenza just appeared in Mexico, that is a severe one, because it comes from an animal virus transmitted to a man.

2. We announce then 350 deaths in one week, to rectify the number to 8 deaths later. But, everyone retained that there was a lot of death. (Does that remind you something? On September 11, they initially announced on television that 40,000 to 50,000 people had died in the Twin Towers- which justified the cruisades against the Force of Evil. Then, the number was revised to 2974 deaths.

3. We announce with tremendous public coverage that the terrible virus propagates to an incredible speed on the entire planet (when in fact, no laboratory in the world possesses the strain of the virus to confirm that it is precisely this virus that is the cause and not the ordinary virus- let's recognize also that the swine flu presents no specific symptoms that differentiate it from the ordinary flu- then how do they count the number of cases?

4. Regarding the very low virulence of the said virus, they announce that this kind virus (finally) will mutate and will become EXTREMELY severe and we know the precise date to which it is going to mutate. It is the day of the readiness of the vaccines, what a COINCIDENCE!

5. During all this time, we are preparing products in laboratories, that we call vaccines, in which we will mix two strains of the swine flu, two strains of the avian flu, and one strain of the human flu, cocktail absolutely explosive when injected in the body! Moreover, we add in bigger quantities than usual some adjuvants (mercury, aluminum and squalene) recognized for their huge toxicity.

6. Just before the availability of the so-called vaccines (which are in reality bacteriological weapons) medias will break loose to announce us that there is an increase of influenza cases. Even though the physicians don't even take the time to check if it is the same virus. The people are so hypnotized that they don't think anymore. People are persuaded that the announced mutation is happening.

7. We announce that not all the vaccines will be immediately available and that there will be lucky ones who will benefit immediately, and others that will have to wait another 4 months to finally receive the salvating vaccine! PLEASE NOTE THAT, THIS IS WHERE WE STAND FOR THE MOMENT IN THE CHRONOLOGY OF EVENTS.

8. Immediately following the available bacteriological weapons disguised in vaccines, the good people in fear will run to voluntarily be vaccinated, in specific centres for this purpose (flanked by the military). Here in Canada, people register on waiting list to be sure to be the first vaccinated!

9. As soon as the vaccine is injected, the cocktail diligently prepared by the laboratories triggers the mutation and combination of the various strains in the body of the patient, which renders the virus extremely deadly. At the same time, the adjuvants will have brought down the immune system. Tamiflu will be used to provoke a surinfection (cases already observed in many countries) bringing the immediate death of the person. Consequence: there will be thousands of deaths among the first vaccinated population.

10. We will be told then that, unfortunately, what we feared has happened: the virus has mutated under a deadly form. We will attribute the cause of death to the virus, and not ot the kind vaccine supposed to protect us! A panic will take hold of the population, which will claim an emergency vaccination.

11. Considering the gravity of the sanitary situation, considering the troubles created, one coming from those who will claim with force their vaccine and the other from those who will accuse the sanitary authorities of genocides, the emergency state will be declared in the entire country and then the mandatory vaccination plan will take place.

12. Those who refuse to get vaccinated will have to hide or disappear during a long period of time, unless they disappear into concentration camps prepared for that purpose.

What I have offered here is a synthesis of all I have read since the last 5 months (among which I spent two months reading on a full time basis) My goal is to decipher for you the information that are hidden (even though they are publicly available) Do your own research with Google. you will see! So that you don't yield to panic when the hecatomb will begin. So that you understand what is the real cause of what you are observing.

Now what can we do? For the moment, the thing that is the most important is to broadcast this information to ALL your contacts. Print this e-mail, give it to all of your friends and acquaintances. If you are the parent of a child that goes to school, institute immediately resistance committees against this clensing plan. In two months, it will be too late. And you must know that the schools will be sealed to be able to vaccinate your children. if you are not organized now, you will be stripped of any means on November 15, when the action plan will take place.

Go talk to all the police officers that you know because they too will be kept ignorant of the real plot (and they will not be vaccinated with the same products, so that they don't become sick as well. Explain to them that they will participate without knowing to a programmed clensing against the population.

Remember that the Nazis have been able to deport so many people towards death concentration camps because the French police did not understand what was going on and provided all the evidence needed by the Nazis. Go talk to your politicians because most of them don't know what is being prepared. Ask them not to cooperate, to sabotage to destroy files of population so that the census of vaccinated and non vaccinated become a big puzzle.

This activity should become your priority. The only way to stop this evil plan, is to have a critical mass of conscious people. Gandhi said that one conscious individual standing is more dangerous to the power in place than 10 000 individual spleeping and unconscious.

Do not lose your time with the high rank leaders of the State, the big medias and the paid experts "bought" by the pharmaceutical laboratories. Do not lose your time with the scepticals, the adepts of the little screen for whom the words of the media represent the Absolute Truth. Be careful with their reaction, they could accuse you fo trying to kill them by preventing them to get vaccinated.

And if you are afraid while reading my e-mail, transform this fear in action.

In the other case scenario where this Jean-Jacques is wright, I would hate to think that I haven't shared his information, when there was still time to prepare a pacific resistance with all the people I care for.

GC Weekend!

Layla and I are curled up in bed on a chilly, cloudy Sunday morning. Still in pajamas. Eating dry Fruit Loops out of the box. What are we up to? It's General Conference week-end! It's only twice a year, but I love it and always look forward to it! Enjoy your weekend too!
